Red Rake Gaming Grows Portugal Footprint with Gaming1, Estoril Sol Casino Deal

Online casino content supplier Red Rake Gaming has further bolstered its presence in the Portuguese gaming market through a recent distribution deal with Gaming1.

As part of that recent deal, Gaming1 has agreed to distribute Red Rake’s ever-growing range of online slots and table games to Estoril Sol Digital, the online casino operation of Portuguese casino operator Estoril Sol.

Based in Belgium, Gaming1 is the country’s leading land-based and online gambling casino operator. As part of its growth strategy, the company has also expanded its operations across multiple other regulated markets, including Portugal, thanks to its proprietary technology and omni-channel approach.

Gaming1 was one of the first international companies to enter the Portuguese marketplace after its reorganization in 2016. As for Estoril Sol Digital, it is the digital gambling arm of one of Portugal’s oldest and largest land-based casino operators.

Estoril Sol and Gaming1 teamed up in July 2016 to jointly run an online casino operation. Their joint venture was the first entity to receive an online gaming license from Portugal’s gambling regulator, SRIJ, after the reorganization of the local market earlier that year.

The Red Rake-Gaming1 Partnership

Red Rake’s partnership with Gaming1 and Estoril Sol Digital will see the provider further expand its Portuguese footprint. The deal will provide Gaming1 with access to Red Rake’s content, including the widely popular Super Series of slots which offer thrilling gameplay as they are packed with multiple features and bonus games.

Estoril Sol’s online players will also be able to play Red Rake’s industry-first one-million-ways-to-win slots which have resonated extremely well with players from a range of markets and are particularly popular in Portugal.

This is the latest of a series of Portugal-centered partnerships announced by Red Rake in the past year and a half. The company first entered that market in the spring of 2019 through a partnership with Bet.pt. It has since grown its Portuguese stronghold through commercial deals with Moosh.pt, Casino Portugal, and Solverde.
